here what is required: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates
First off, I can't reproduce this bug on jaunty/amd54 vlc_0.9.9a-

The same could be said for Windows. Since Windows XP SP2, automatic
security updates are turned on by default, and users have to
specifically opt out of it to turn it off.

I am trying to print http://ev.kde.org/resources/FLA-generic.pdf from
okular [embedded into konqueror, but that shouldn't matter], and from
another computer than the one connected to the printer. Same setup
worked before without problems.

have you looked at my code a bit more? I haven't had this problem in a
long time with the script I have posted here...I actually have several
instances of conky running with no problems at all

Firefox crashed downloading Java 6 Maybe my router has issues
Public bug reported:
After what I thought was a good boot up the system seemed to jam when I
tried to login to my router and launch Firefox.
It said that it was updating Sun Java 6 but then I noticed this weird
looking Batman, CRASH, BOOM like icon just to the left of my usual
WiFi signal level
Actually Empathy uses:
message-new-instant
message-sent-instant
service-login
service-logout
phone-incoming-call
phone-outgoing-calling
phone-hangup,
Jaunty only provides phone-incoming-call. All others are missing. I
don't know for karmic.
