Upgraded kernel to 2.6.28-13, but it did not help.
I was able to take screen shot of kernel panic, it was hanging for several
seconds and I switched to console and then it hung finally :)
I am switching wireless off at work and it never happened while it is off.

It seems that the parameter you suggested does not change anything. The
problem still exists.
N.B. this same share configuration worked before with the Ubuntu 8.10
release, but stopped working when I upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04. So, I think
it's a problem with the

Actually, what would really be cool (though not in papercut domain)
would be the ability to undock the calendar, making it permanent. The
behavior would then look like this:
1. The user clicks on the time and the calendar appears. The user clicks on a
different window, and the calendar
