I have been meaning to update this bug. SVN Amarok 2 recently had a
great break through. I was able to import my MySQL song database. The
widgets or are working well. The only thing I miss now is the last.fm
similar artists. Other than that I would urge anyone check out the

The Server Guide page for CUPS on 8.10/9.04 lists the package to install
for the CUPS server as "cupsys". This should be changed to "cups" as
"cupsys" is a transitional package for "cups" starting from Ubuntu 8.10.

Some more findings:
Htop shown me too that pulseaudio use ~15 % of cpu. So, in a console i
run : sudo dpkg-reconfigure pulseaudio. This command stop & restart
pulseaudio.
And the good surprise now: there is no more over eating cpu activity:
-no more trouble with previous gnome-volume-control-ap
