How do i change the default Image Viewer to Ristretto Image viewer or any other
image viewer application? I have lots of LTSP users and this is a bit crucial.

Since VLC 0.9.8a worked in Windows, but version 0.9.9a did not work in
Ubuntu while 1.0 did, I guess maybe playing around with settings would

(this one is i386, instead of amd64) and here the document that I
attached seems to work.
So, on this freshly updated system evince opens the document, while on

So things appear to work now using 2.6.31-3-generic with using the
internal hard disk. I was using a USB drive for root. It still fails
with the USB drive, but works fine with the internal disk being used.

I have also had this problem with Jaunty 64 bit. Environment is two
Nvidia NVS 285 PCI-E cards and four monitors. Errors as reported above
appear in the Xorg log.
I may have stumbled on a work around, which is (for the above config)
1. Configure xorg.conf for Nvidia twinview for each pair of mon

However, I must disagree with you. Being that Mozilla does not ship with

I couldn't test it on Jaunty earlier because my ATI Radeon X1600 didn't have
the binary driver for the new X server.
Now that I got some hardware upgrades, I upgraded and tried again, but after
getting the nvidia binary drivers to work, it told me "Desktop effects cannot
be enabled."
