disabled the network (modprobe -r b44), and voila - no real buffer

In scenario 2, grub-probe -v -t fs / shows that the message preceding
the error is opening (gptvg-lvroot)

I must correct my last posting. Also after upgrating to Kernel 2.6.30-4
and updating Intel Graphics driver to 2.7.1 I run again into a situation
where system freezes some minutes after I logged in. This issue did only
occure if I boot with battery. When I have plugged in power it seems to
work
