Hi,
It seems that the systems suspends properly. And resumes too, but
unfortunately the LCD backlight remains off. I can blindly login (I see the
wifi led turning from blinking to steady "on") but then.. well, that's it.
I'm not using this laptop very often these days, but I'll try to help.

I was using whichever version of AVG for Linux was current on 30 May
2009. I am currently unable to ascertain which version that was. I was
using 64-bit Jaunty with all updates applied up to 30 May.
Since reporting this bug I have upgraded to 64-bit Karmic alpha 4 with

+1 - the options I needed are "-cpu coreduo,-nx" rather than 'nx' as

After a recent updat of vinagre, telepathy tubes (share my desktop in empathy)
are broken.
I consulted the telepathy IRC channel and they pointed out that vinagre needs
to be compiled with the right options to support this function.

Did you set the networks to connect automatically? I found If a
connection has been set as such, clicking won't connect it. But if you
leave connect automatically unchecked, then you can connect via clicking
on the network.

I can change the terminal's title manually by running..
print -Pn "\e]0;%...@%m: %~\a"
Which gets the terminals title how I want it to be, however, it doesn't
track things as I go along.
Using Zsh's preexec and precmd, I can get it to change the title of the
screen's window, but
