Might any of you have restarted sshd from within a su session? I don't
have definite proof that it's related, but I note that the quoted
blocked signal mask corresponds exactly to those signals that su blocks.
I wonder if it's due to some PAM session module ...

Not necessarily the first line , but i'v tried several times for
different file sizes , its when the cursor is in any line 15th line.
[this is not even constant , when a file is larger , then the acceptable
line changes! for some files it crashes for 24 lines!]

As of notify-osd 0.9.18-0ubuntu1, it is disregarding any position set
under Preferences Pop-Up Notifications.
Instead it displays in a non-default position 2/3 down vertically and
along the right edge of the screen.

The Kubuntu 9.04 is installed inside windows. When Dell vostro 1510
