This last hour the problem has not been occuring.
Probably started about a week ago. (maybe longer) Symptom was very slow
response times.
Using system monitor I got 2 results.
Initially JAVA was reporting ~75% cpu with the state suggesting it was
waiting some action ( idle ?)
Later
I had same problem with Wine on 9.04 32-bit desktop install with Nvidia
drivers (installation upgraded from 8.10 32-bit desktop). I managed to
solve it by changing identifier of "video" user group from 1001 to 44 to
match group given in /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-kernel-nkc.conf

I have been trying to use the gnome-bluetooth applet - and I cannot get
it to work.
It will not find any bluetooth devices.
Blueman worked fine. I un-installed Blueman just in case it was

Ok, now I don't think this is a bug, just me not using the applet
properly. It was my habit to right-click and enable/disable networking
to connect/disconnect. I see now there is a difference between
enabling/disabling networking and actually connecting/disconnecting from
a particular network. I

Firefox Estonian translation avai
This is actually in the Karmic Estonian Language Pack now. Firefox 3.0
on Karmic should have Estonian support. Firefox 3.5 support will come
with the rest of the languages in Karmic.
