Somehow it disrupts the player some time (circa 4 minutes - buffer?)
after a lease has been renewed.
Totem with GStreamer halts after some 10-20 seconds, the same does
MPlayer and Xine-UI player with default settings. Kaffeine
lsb_release -si should be used. I will reopen the Debian bug for this.

motherboard and I can't connect at gigabit speed only at 100mb/s. I'm using a

I made the updates this morning (Wed, 16 sep. 6h10am Quebec time) and i
had a major bug. During the installation of the update of the kernel
2.6.31-10, i had lots of lines with SEGV messages saying somthing like

I had the same problem on a fresh install (but with a copy of my home
directory from the previous install), using the adobe flash plugin from
apt (flashplugin-installer). All other sound applications were working,
but not flash.

with an RV630 (which has this problem), and if I do compiz --replace I

I now have sound with flash. Note that I dumped the inferior
nspluginwrapper solution (why does Canonical insist on using that
anyway?) and went straight to the source - I installed Adobe's 64 bit

Bit more investigation shows that the disappearing titlebars are in fact
caused by a window manager problem. Going to appearance-visual effects
and changing the effect level restores the title bars.

Binary package hint: ec2-init
This is very weird.
At one point I'd mistakenly attempted to install ec2-init on a none AMI.
I'd long since removed this package with 'apt-get --purge remove
ec2-init'.

Hey there.
Unfortunately we can't fix this (rather we do not want to). We could
patch xdg-open support in, but then we would have to do that for all
tool operations that could possibly make use of xdg-open resulting in a
quite big patch. Thus I am closing this bug as Won't Fix.
