Ok, I was able to get further. There are some problems with the alt+f -approach
too:
1) If you change the language, the shortcut key is also changed to something
else
2) It's not always 'forward', it's also 'install' - and I think it all is not
localized so it kept chancing between the Finnish F

application works or disable running under a security manager
altogether.

This actually is a showstopper for most 7" (low resolution) users - I
wouldn't have been able to come up with the Alt+F / Alt+B without
reading it here. Tried the alt+mouse thing and was disappointed not

Just installed karmic alpha 6 and had to dig out a network cable because
i use a 40 bit WEP pass phrase. This is definitely not fixed. Also i'm
not sure there is such a thing as 64 bit WEP hex key, but i may have

Kpackagekit uses the proxy settings from the network tab of
systemsettings. Unfortunately it does only use (i try to translate)
"setting proxy manually", even if another option is activated like "no
proxy at all" ! So an old proxy at the first place results in no network
for kpackagekit. One is not

Hi Evan,
The whole system freezes up (except the mouse cursor). What I can do is
run those logs in terminal sessions and take a screenshot with a camera.
Maybe that'll give you enough insight. I'll have to do that tomorrow as
the machine's in the office and I'm home now.

Alright, it looks like that patch is the problem then. However, I see no
way to fix the problem without reverting the patch. Since cairo-dock is
not the default and not used by many users this won't happen for karmic.
For lucid I'll see if there is another fix we can figure out.
