Please try your hardest to get this version or higher into Karmic. It
contains an important bugfix (audio mixer was broken in multitrack).
Also it supports pulse audio out-of-the-box, which will make it very
much more accessible for desktop users (previously only jack audio was
supported).

Hi Guys
I thought it odd that during installation of jaunty and karmic one step
was missing, In jaunty, restriced drivers popped up but not in karmic.
So how do I find restricted karmic drivers? Googling found this link

You're right, sometimes the plug/unplug gets recorded in syslog,
sometimes doesn't.

Also in Italian the mount point is something like
~/.gvfs/Mount gphoto2 su usb%3A001,004
So I had to change /usr/share/applications/gthumb-import.desktop to
Exec=sh -c 'gvfs-mount -u ~/.gvfs/*gphoto2*; exec gthumb --import-
photos'
