positive this was done correctly) The ant-spotlight screen saver does

I found out that the original bug has been solved. The problem that we
are still experiencing are related to bug #361149. Once the workaround
outlined in that bug report are applied, the XPS media keys are working
again, both in GNOME and in KDE.

and broke my system.

The problem is that the default configuration of KDE shipped with
(K)Ubuntu uses Meta+C instead of "Media Play" (XF86AudioPlay).
Once the keyboard bindings are set to the correct value, Amarok works
again, even in a GNOME environment.

I made the update this afternoon and it asked me to reboot. I reboot and
no graphic, what a surprised you'd say but the problem is my little
workaround isn't working anymore. I had to uninstall ATI driver to
regain access to the login screen and then to the desktop environement
It wasn't in the top right corner either. I found out I could add applet
manually though.
