imclean, is the brasero problem you described restricted to flac files?
Do e.g. wmv files work?
I am quite sure this bug is not a duplicate of bug #405544. That is
about brasero not recognizing blank disks.
What I saw on jaunty looks symptomatically quite alike to what you saw
on karmic.

Hmmm... maybe look at

same problem. If it is the same problem, then please mark this bug as a
duplicate of that bug.
Thanks!!!

100% agree. This is a bug in the interaction between console-kit and
policy-kit and there isn't much we can do about it at the indicator-
applet level.

okay, i'm not at all familiar with binutils, but just studying which
files were changed by this patch and excluding build, packaging,
translation, and non-amd64 arches, i am left with these three patches:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mountall
When running latest Karmic under lxc (linux containers), the startup
yields:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdegraphics
Reading through UK census documents, when I came across a document for
the Scotland, the Specimen wordart on the page is covered up by the
question mark file icon used by KDE4, thereby preventing any text being
readable underneath the icon.

I found 2 bug reports in upstream bug tracker:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423478

(I solved a hard level puzzle, I use only 1 tracker with enough
different color from black for good visibility)
** Changed in: gnome-games (Ubuntu)
I personally think that the button should toggle between an some kind of
icon representing a mouse/cursor (to switch to breadcrumb mode where you
click on buttons) and one representing a keyboard (to switch to text
entry mode).
It makes sense to me because most users click the buttons in icon mode
Yes, while today the applet only contains one icon it will likely
contain more than one in the future. So the logo shown in the add
dialog matches the logo of the project, not the one on the panel. Plus,
in the default Ubuntu the panel icon is themed to match the theme of the
panel. Thanks!
