The sync issue wan't solved by using plughw:0,0. I spend hours to find

ttf-bitstream-vera fonts I was using in Jaunty. I went to

I used the "suspend" keyboard keys, which have been working (since
upgrading to 9.10). I closed the lid before the suspend was completely
done, which I think has been working. A short while later I tried to
wake up the machine, which had the late crescent moon symbol illumin

Some items are not visible in trash and can't be deleted.

Changing /etc/slapd on the server from:
SLAPD_SERVICES="ldaps:///"
to:

This could be a permission problem. Please go to Applications >
Accessories > Terminal and cd to the directory where this file is
located. Then run "ls -l" and paste the output here. This is does not

Would you like to try the patched karmic kernel package
(http://people.canonical.com/~lexical/archive/lp253874/linux-
image-2.6.31-16-generic_2.6.31-16.50lp253874lexical1_i386.deb) and
report whether it works well. Not all the function keys works without
some user space modification.
Daniel, that fix worked for me as well. Is there a way to make the
volume keys change PCM as opposed to master? I know this is the old
behavior, but it's very useful for keeping the sound levels the same for
my laptop between my laptop speakers, headphones, and external speakers.

I am having some serious problems with the released Karmic. Every day
for the last week my system freezes when I click on the X on the top
right of the window to exit either firefox, eclipse or google picasa.
