I see a similar problem on Karmic when using autofs to mount CIFS
shares. If I turn off my computer while a share is still mounted, the
computer will stay upon killing all remaining process line
indefinitely. If I add a script similar to the one proposed in
/etc/network/if-down.d to umount
It has not been fixed in Karmic.

i use ubuntu-one asthe backup directory for backintime. itś 1.4 Gb.
During the upload a problem occurswith firefox en freezes ubuntu. i
restarted the system the upload continues. Ubuntu-one uploaded about 650
MB when i restarted ubuntu.

This is not a bios issue, this happens after grub starts booting from
HD, bios had dvd/cd boot disabled as well as HD set to be the first boot
device. So there is something else here.

loading before they pop up.

I see a similar problem on Karmic when using autofs to mount CIFS
shares. If I turn off my computer while a share is still mounted, the
computer will stay upon killing all remaining process line
indefinitely. If I add a script similar to the one proposed in
/etc/network/if-down.d to umount

isn't possible to make this GMA45 work in ubuntu...
