I have this poroblem too. Trying to upload files via MU (Firefox 3.5.7)
on latest Ubuntu 64bit and it not only doesn't work - it pretty much
hoses my whole internet connection. I think it's because it's uploading
(with all the bandwidth taken up) but it's not showing that it's

(846) terminated with status 1', I finally found one bug # 484209 which likely
is the cause for my observed NFS mount problem. I will try to confirm later.

That doesn't look quite right; those files should be in /usr/lib/vdpau
not /usr/lib/nvidia-current. Also, open-source libvdpau looks for
libvdpau_${driver}.so.1 not libvdpau_${driver}.so. Of course, I suppose
the libvdpau package could have been patched relative to the distributed

the webcam/usb port issue there was distinct from the bios update here.

I just tried installing the debug symbols for gnome-system-monitor as
per the linked instructions. However, the instructions aren't fully

now several days with kernel 2.6.31-11-generic. the later freeze didnt happen
anmore!
either it is very rare now or the problem is resolved.
with 2.6.31-17-generic it still happens.
