Dear all,
I just released a minor release 0.10.4 fixing further bugs. the main impact on
linux is that we now disabled OpenGL shaders by default for stars and
atmosphere rendering as it seemed to cause problems on some configs, especially
for some intel GMA graphics cards with no hardware (but

I am going to write out a workaround for this bug, mostly for my own
amusement, and possibly for a stray soul wanting to use Karmic on a Dell
mini 10, and searching here in desperation. Apparently, Ubuntu devs have
to much on their hands to look bugs, let alone fixing them. It's a
little sad, but
Pavel: For the nautilus issue, there's bug #523954.
I'm not sure where the decorations bug is, if there is one; but it
actually breaks (the admittedly really hacky) Firefox Echofon extension,
making it more or less impossible to use as it seems to be impossible to
deliver close/etc. events to it.

Another bit of fallout I think is related: the Firefox Echofon extension
(for Twitter) now has a frame drawn around its popup that ignores all
events sent to it, making the extension useless.
Echofon is *really* hacky, though, as I gather--it's had a number of
focus issues on various platforms
The remaining part is that we're recreating the swap partition, and that
marks the extended partition as dirty. I don't think this is likely to
be either straightforward or desirable to change.
The core parted bug was fixed upstream a little while ago:
