Pulseaudio wasn't my sound driver, though. I was using an ALSA audio driver
for Riptide. Pulseaudio would not output sound. I wouldn't worry about it

When started from a terminal, the error message is:
nip2: symbol lookup error: nip2: undefined symbol: im_istiff
Probably the version of nip2 is too old for the vips library, as vips is
version 7.18.1, while nip2 is 7.14.5:

I synced my notes from one machine then went to a new machine and synced
from there. (The new machine had no notes on it at first.) On the second
machine, all the notes were downloaded but they contained only the
title, not the body text.

It appears that netbook launcher is simply dividing the distance it
needs to scroll by a certain number of scroll wheel clicks; you need to
scroll the same amount to reach the bottom of the page. For some pages,
this makes it really slow. For others (like System) it means scrolling
is really fast,
