Jim: Yelp does work in Ubuntu when opening Gnumeric. It does not work
when you do a fresh install using Xubuntu.
I can not say if the bugs are duplicates, I do not get a crash. It fails
silently. Even when waiting 5 minutes, I do not get any help to open in
Xubuntu when using Gnumeric.

issue as bug 511001, but we prefer to keep xorg bugs separate until
proven otherwise. The Lucid kernel does not have the infrastructure in
place to troubleshoot GPU hung bugs properly. The intel-drm-next kernel

Well then they really should show with a lock symbol (read-only). Looks
like this may be a (different) bug that you are experiencing. (and since
you are only shown one emblem per icon don't see any difference to the
list view icons either)

I get kernel panics about every 3-4 days. I installed and configured
linux-crashdump to get the crash information. Finally i was able to
extract the log from VmCore which i attach.

I used to have my left monitor at the top, but then when I move my mouse
or a program across them it will jump 200 pixels vertically, and it
doesn't look very nice. I guess one solution is to physically move my
left monitor higher by placing something under it, although that doesn't
