system monitor ntop would use a lot of cpu (50-100%). When I killed ntop

When you ran the BIOS update, the program should have saved your old BIOS
for you to reinstall if need be. I am guessing you are in the same boat as
me and deleted that image or no longer have it.
My ultimate solution to fixing all of the bugs in this laptop was to just
bite the bullet and
I agree, Thorsten. Sources shouldn't be removed, but I think a warning sign is
badly needed.

Selecting the correct package is important for ensuring that it gets
looked at by the proper developers.
I'm fairly certain this is not a gnome-terminal bug. I believe this
because I can see the same problem in Firefox, Chrome and Skype as well
as gnome-terminal. I am a sysadmin so the problem
