The issue for me was either the motherboard or cpu. After having
upgraded all other parts at one point or another, I upgraded the cpu and
motherboard and the issue has gone away.

Yet another backtrace for Evolution lockup during Send/Receive. This
occurred while Evolution was performing automatic periodic Send/Receive
operations without control from GDB. Upon lockup, I attached to the
