(RV250) GPU. This is a problem that showed up in lucid, but wasn't
present in karmic. Resume seems to work, backlight turns on right away
(I can even control the backlight level), but I either get:

I have a plymouth issue that might be related; booting the March 10th
Daily CD, the March 17 Daily CD, and the Beta 1 CD all fail when using
the graphical boot, the latter two seeming to freeze on the bootsplash

You have made headway but aren't quite there. The touchpad tab shows up in
both the mouse and in gsynaptics, but even though I check the disable
touchpad when typing and try to disable the tap to click, it doesn't
disable. Also, I seem to have lost the scrolling on the edge.

My mistake, linux-backports-modules-nouveau-2.6.32-17-generic wasn't
installed (although it should have kept back the kernel if it wasn't
available yet).

I'm not on Ubuntu at the moment but Fedora 13 so I can only speak for
this release. F13 ships with virt-manager 0.8.3 and this version still
has that bug, one still cannot choose an ISO file when connecting to a
remote kvm server with virt-manager. I think it might be better to
report it
temporary workaround:
$ jockey-text -l (to list available drivers)
$ jockey-text -e (to enable driver)
This allows you to still enable proprietary drivers, but does nothing to
fix this error. I tried installing a few python- packages and a couple

Additionally, it looks like the -gnome package alone cannot initiate a
connection, but requires the main package in order to do so. (I removed
the shorter one and was not able to try connecting). The deps should
probably reflect that.
