Yes, this is a bug in Ubuntu-Mono. The fix would be to include the
larger sized weather icons in Ubuntu-Mono, but I'm not sure that will
happen. But, you can go ahead and file a new bug and we'll see what the

Looks like those are the exact indications I am experiencing. If
I'm switching users and the screens are locked, how would I run the
xgamma command though? I suppose I could blindly unlock the screen,
but it's not much of a work-around.

It appears that the MythTV Program Guide is using some additional logic
to align the EPG data around DST changes but is using GMT rather than
local time as the base.
This is particularly noticeable in NZ where the schedule was off by an
hour until

You are not supposed to install dgc, the karmic kernel should support
dgc modems natively.
Also, you need to uninstall the modemmanager package in karmic for the
modem to be detected properly.

Oh - yes, sorry; it appears you don't have the plymouth theme packages
installed, despite them being recommended by plymouth and by ubuntu-
standard.
Please remove /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/plymouth again, install the
