Linux freeze every time I access to a samba share with nautilus or in
terminal. The share is mounted at startup like this (in fstab) :
//xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/optrw /mnt/tmp cifs
credentials=/root/.cred,iocha
This particular bug is *definitely* fixed. It's entirely possible that
there are other, unrelated, memory issues in the server, or specific
drivers. These should be filed as separate bugs - although memory
issues often end up being problems in the apps using X :).

Do you have the policykit-1 package installed still? It's installed by
default, so did you remove it manually?
