I think there is still room for improvement here.
I have a dual-screen setup and the panel was not on the monitor that I
wanted it on. I could not figure out how to move to the second monitor.
I tried right clicking on it and dragging it, but neither works. The

Another idea might be to run slapd in a terminal with the -d -1 option
in order to capture it's debug output.

ubuntu used quite an old releases of evolution for lucid (they
considered the changes from 2.28 to 2.30 to be big and have a potential

The Plasma wifi signal strength monitor can only see the first wifi
adapter. For instance in my case I have an internal wifi adapter (named
wlan1 for some reason), and an external one called wlan0. When I have a

In the default setup the external microphone is not working. It is
possible to get the microphone working by editing /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf
and add this line:
options snd-hda-intel model=medion
but then there is no jack sense anymore and sound will go through the
