GDM crashes when Sugar session is selected
I have marked this as New for the following reasons:
According to the information posted in Bug #197267, this is a problem
related to incorrect BIOS in certain ASUS motherboards. A PBLK length of
[5] is indeed invalid as the only acceptable lengths are [0] and [6].
As such, Bug #442633 should
I get almost the same here with nvidia proprietary drivers. The
notifications often but not always appear on the secondary monitor and
I'm not sure what event causes the switch.

I am having this issue as well. Quite annoying to have to mount my
network shares manually after each boot. It sometimes wreaks havoc with
my nightly backups, because if the computer is rebooted prior to the
backup, the backup drive does not get mounted.

I was able to gain some functionality of the drives by installing vlc
and gstreamer packages a well as using synaptic package manager to
reinstall the linux kernel. This is not a fix, but a stop-gap, as the
computer does not automatically recognize a disk in the drive or a usb
drive in the port.
Slight problem there: The list has the right number of people, but with
that plus sign view, it's also entirely blank addresses. I can't add
them (or adding them has no effect), and don't seem to be able to drag
them anywhere.
