I have the same problem with a Viglen P4 desktop. It crashed every time
I started VirtualBox. I tried the ppa, and things are slightly better
now (I can run VirtualBox), but I still get a crash or freeze every once
in a while.

Additional information: the printscreen key only seems to hang the
keyboard if I have ever pressed the ALT key during the computer being
on. If I've just started the computer, I can safely use the printscreen
key until I use the ALT key - even pressing it by itself.

After installing VYM, I cannot double-click on a .vym file in Nautilus
and have it open in VYM.
Expected action: File opens in VYM.
Actually happens: File opens in Archive Manager, since it is
Mackenzie's PPA worked fine here, symptoms experienced using standard
10.04 Lucid after dist-upgrade.
Using 3 Samsung 20" screens with 2 NVidia PCIe cards (9600GT with one
DVI connection to centre monitor, 9500GT connected to left and right

I am trying to record off the internet through Line-in port. I am using
Audacity to record, I have also tried the default sound record of Ubuntu
but none of them works for the recording. There is no choice to pick out
as Line-in, only microphone.
