If I were to guess, there was a 'fix' to PHP that is causing Rhythmbox
to be broken... Do not know the workings of this, but it is annoying...
If it is a regular http link, it seems to work just fine. If it is a
link with php?id=14 or some such, it fails.

Same here, worked after I unmounted. Thanks guys! You can use
administration - disk utility (palimpsest) to unmount it but I can't
remember if that's in the default install.

Same problem for me, rebooting didn't help. What did help: removing
ubuntuone-client. Frozen nautilus windows just sprang to life!

See Bug #617849 where this behavior crashes PHP.
In brief, when mail_fetch_body() is passed very long section
(strlen(section) 1004), mail_fetch_body() returns an empty string but
does not set len parameter to zero. If the calling application has not
set len to zero before
Solved: post install trigger was picking up a commented out line in
mysql.txt regarding the DBhost:
#DBHostName=localhost
#DBHostName=mythbuntu
This resulted in both names being assigned to the host name variable,
and of course mysql didn't think that was funny...

mail_fetch_body() may return empty string without updating len parameter
Could you provide the output of:
$ atq
and at -c [job id] of the task, it might be that one of your scheduled
at scripts are causing this bug. This is a one time task and the files
for those are located in gnome-schedule/at. I don't necessarily
recommend deleting everything in those folders thou.
Ah, damn, I don't think I'll be able to. As stated above, I reinstalled
the rhythmbox package and now everything seems to work normally. I've
appended the flag to my starter and if the error occurs again, I'll
attach the debug output here, but otherwise I fear that this will remain
unresolved.
