First I installed the package linux-backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic
Then I purged the packages linux-sound-base alsa-base alsa-utils and

the upgrade process to the firefox-3.5
from the old version; what it really needs is for whoever is going to do
something similar for Firefox 4 to look at this and take the problems into

It would also be nice to have a workaround such as adding the Music
Store checkout to https://one.ubuntu.com/ preferably with a hyperlink in
https://one.ubuntu.com/music/. That's assuming that once you've
selected your music tracks they are in a shopping cart somewhere in the
internet.

On y eeepc 900 with 1024x600 evolution is my favourite and only email
reader. It is certainly not unusable.
The problem with dialog boxes on small screens is not unique to
evolution.
Fortunately Ubuntu allows you to solve this by click and dragging while
holding the Alt key pressed anywhere in
