Hi, I just tried Ubuntu 10.10, version from 26.08.2010 and the bug is still
present - all I get from my Sound Blaster VX is only irritating noise.

In Ubuntu Server Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS reverse path filtering is enabled
(1) by default which causes havoc with BGP and potentially and other
routing protocol in which a packet may go out one (1) interface but
return in another interface. The

but I didn't confirm that.

Confirmed on a physical server: grub in console mode boots from the second disk
without any problems.
My proposed solution is to disable grub graphic console on server installs.
