The -ati package depends on the -radeon package, so if you remove
-radeon both are removed. If you then install -radeon, there is no
reverse dependency to bring in -ati.
It seems indeed that you have the same issue as Bastian in bug 650425,
there's a broken 1360x768 mode detected when using KMS.
Nobody have noticed this error?

'modprobe usb-storage', and then continuing with boot; this forced the

That's an interesting idea, however the point of having both up is to
provide a fallback for wired through wireless. Perhaps the issue is rather
more that your wifi connection gets the default route, which should not be

My libcairo2 is 1.10.0-1ubuntu2. I manually installed libcairo2 with dpkg just
in case but keeps printing a blank page. I tried two different printers. I
