To be honest, looking at the nvidia package installed, I'm not clear
what I should or should not have. I've not had problems here before, so

I haven't tracked through all of the Depends: lines, but the observed
behavior is that installing the patched erlang-ssl package UNINSTALLS a
significant number of other erlang packages. Likewise, installing
erlang-xmerl after the patched erlang-ssl uninstalls the patched erlang-
ssl and a number
This apparently is not yet even in SID, so it would not happen until
11.04 at minimum. Also, when the new/replacement is sync'd we will have
to make sure that the dependent packages, and there are a number of
them, are also correctly updated. Finally, there is a current issue

It is strange that .gtk-bookmarks is not in your home folder and you are still
seeing Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. in the Places menu.
The ~/.gtk-bookmarks file actually stores the nautilus bookmarks, which show up
in the Places menu.
One thing that you might want to try is:
Start nautilus
Bug persists in Maverick, the work-around is annoying because I have to
kill every other alsa device (including my browser) before I get sound
in etqw. I also have the same problem with doom3 and quake4.

Attached a tarball, that when unzipped allows for testing of OAuth
authenticated push and pull replication over SSL.
To use, extract the tarball, enter the directory that it creates, and
then run:

ambiance and radiance theme has black color tool-tips and they look
horrible, it is not beautiful at all, so you should change color to gray
