Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba
Underlaying bug with packet signing was marked as critical and fixed in samba:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7791
But still remains a major issue in ubuntu 10.10!!!
** Affects: samba (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
verification for lucid and maverick.
I'm unable to reproduce the original issue with the provided test case.
The diversion is removed and update-initramfs is run in the postinst
script, copying the right udevadm to the initramfs.
But, if I run update-initramfs without removing the diversion

could create a merge proposal into lp:ubiquity for it. AFAICS there is
none created yet?
I looked over the diff and while I'm not a ubiquity expert I think it
looks fine. My only question would be if it needs to run a full lxde
similar problem in evolution?

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: usb-modeswitch
Rewriting /usr/sbin/usb_modeswitch_dispatcher in a compiled language
would make the package not depend on tclsh, a move that would save
livecd/disk space and would be a slight help for boot speed as well when
such hardware is present.
