Right now I can´t reproduce this behavior. I think this might happen in

I was installing ubuntu1010 on VMWare player 3.0.1
This happened after selecting the keyboard settings which was
Hungarian/Hungarian.
There was no network connection during the install because the proxy wouldn't
let
@Maletor - try downgrading the bluez stack to the version found in
lucid and see if that makes a difference. In my case as mentioned a
few comments above, removing the device and re-adding it with
bluedevil did the trick.
