So, this "bug" is a side-effect of the express patch in 2.32 that I
backported for 2.30.
I do not have the time to have a deeper look right now because of natty
and alpha1, but if someone wants to contribute there, just join #ubuntu-

I did a fresh install of Lucid 10.04.1 onto a netbook, then plugged in

In case anyone else runs into this, my workaround is to delete
/etc/pam.d/common-* before running pam-auth-update. Still requires
special handling in the install scripts, but at least the config is in

Perhaps the title of this bug should be changed, as the "grayed out 2
finger option" problem seems to exist on many different platforms. It's
an issue for me on my HP EliteBook 2530p, for example.
Making the title as more of a generic / widely-affected problem might
help it get in a release soon?
The reason there has been no activity (on my part) is that I experienced
endless problems with Ubuntu, and gave up and installed Debian Lenny
instead, which works fine.

So... conclusion. Updating grub-pc on a wubi install breaks wubi. I will

I have an NFS partition mounted by way of fstab. When attempting to
create a DVD image (or burn a DVD directly) that contains files sourced
from this partition, brasero seems to create the .iso image successfully
(even reporting "Success ... 42128
This package failed to build for me, build log attached. If you could
have a look to see what the problem is, and attempt to fix it, that
would be great.

utouch-geis 1.0.13 doesn't currently build on Natty due to linker
changes - I've attached the build log (see
