I get the same thing. This is pretty silly. Why does hal depend on
smartdimmer, also? This is an nVidia LCD panel tool. Surely HAL should
be able to detect if it's there or not, not have it as a forced
dependency. I run on VirtualBox and Intel graphics machines so
smartdimmer is useless to me.

I upgraded byobu to verion in ppa. If I rename any session using -S flag
when starting byobu it does not detect it. If I dont use -S flag then I

With the rc2 kernel the system won't start up in the GUI - it states
something with fail regarding some MMIO registers. I'll attach the
Xorg.o.log if it can help.

This is not the job of the window because it can't possible done
correctly in the window manager. It's that simple. I'd love to have this
working correctly in the window manager, but it's logically impossible
without application support. Because the window manager doesn't have any
way to know that
Correction: Devils Pie doesn't work correctly for this purpose. It does
correctly what it does, but it does not have the capability wished for
here.

Awesome work! How long have you been using this code, presumably without
any crashes? If things are working better, I think we'll probably try to
use your work. I think the server patch looks good, and the evdev patch
just needs to remove the unused code.

I can not find the X-AppInstall-Package=lazarus-ide in the lazarus.desktop file
in the lazarus package.
I did find it in the lazarus.desktop file in app-install-data-ubuntu, so
reassigning there. Seems easy to fix, right?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I deleted the image it happened
with, so I can't pass it on. However I don't think there was anything
special about that image. The image was just a simple .png, which I had
already cropped with Shotwell.
I am finding it hard to reproduce this bug but I will
