keyboard shortcuts (like Alt+F), but remain invisible the rest of the time.

I have exactly the same problem.
Same computer model, ubuntu version and alsa version.
Before I update to ubuntu 10.10 the mic used to work. I was using
Linuxant driver (http://www.linuxant.com/). But they don't support this
kernel version.

I need to install the package cggroup-bin from Universe repository.
Then I restart qemu-kvm and libvirt-bin daemons.
After this steps Virt-manager run correctly.

Had the same problem, but it was because my disk was full. Made some
space available and now it seems to work. It's a bug nevertheless
because the system froze and files couldn't be written but I didn't get
the no space left error (had to find out myself)

In private communication, I found that Friedrich was doing the install

Glad it solved the issue for you. I do not see a good way to improve the print
to file checkbox issue (by design, cups-pdf is treated like any other
printer). But a warning issued by evince would be a nice feature, you could
