I have just tried to reproduce this bug on a Maverick i386 system, and
was unable to do so. While I suppose it's possible that this occurs only
on amd64, it seems more likely that there's some other important factor.

I am able to reproduce this bug from the latest git sources (cloned less
than a half hour ago from the posting of this comment) on a Maverick
i386 system, so this bug does not appear to be fixed upstream.
This bug seems to be in the way URI's are created to represent filenames
that contain spaces.

When installing Maverick 10.10 on Lenovo U160 with i5-470um processor
with Mobile Intel HM55 Express Chipset I must use option F6, nomodeset
to install otherwise screen is black on boot. When installed the same
thing happens. I have tried mod of GRUB with all known options,
I should also probably mention that of the four laptops I work with,
this error only occurs on the one which doesn't automatically resume
upon the lid being opened. On the machine with the error, my Asus
1015PEM netbook, it won't resume unless I press a button after opening

It does indeed seem to be a rate control issue. When it slows down and I
check the router it shows it's only going at 5.5Mbps. If I disconnect
and check the router's rate from another wireless computer it
immediately jumps back to 36+Mbps which is what it is normally at. It
appears when the laptop
If it is intermittent it is not this bug. I had intermittent problems
with printing to my LaserJet 4050 after upgrading to 10.10. It turned
out to be bug 229981 which I fixed by changing the connection type to
AppSocket/HP JetDirect.

Sorry for never getting back to you. What happened was my ant target
was rebuilding each time it ran in cron. My guess is It must have been
modifying the jars and libzip didn't know what to do.
I took that out and the problem stopped.

Bad news everyone... My assumptions about kernel 2.6.32-24 may be wrong... It
just failed with the same kind of errors.
I will need to start again my research. Meanwhile... this is today's error

If you added your user to the `audio' group, that's just a workaround.
The real problem is why your user isn't granted the proper privileges
for /dev/snd/* via Console Kit.

This bug should definitely receive a higher priority. Faster resume
times are one of the big focuses of the latest computers and OSs like
the Air and Google's Chrome OS netbook. Not being able to type in your
information for 4 or 5 seconds and having to hit several keys to get the
prompt to come up
I'm using a Laserjet 2605dn. The problem was happening consistently (6
attempts) and continued after a reboot of the printer. I was also using
Document Viewer 2.32.0 to view and print the calendar.
When Okular worked, I chalked it up to a problem with Document Viewer or
some component thereof.

Thanks for the assistance. That permissions have now been dealt with by
adding the user to the right group.
