different.
I've installed the hamster-applet 2.31.92-ubuntu2 here on my Ubuntu
Maverick (Kernel 2.6.35-23-generic # 41-Ubuntu) using Synaptic, logged
out, logged in again and added the hamster applet to my panel.
On maverick the same issue.
with only wlan0 it disconnects frequently when there is network traffic .

Binary package hint: partman-lvm
During installation, when configuring a number of LVM volumes, they are
displayed as in the attached screenshot:
LVM VG Raid, LV Home - 80.0 GB Linux device-mapper (linear)
#1 80.0 GB f ext4 /home
LVM VG Raid, LV Home_Manager - 20.0 GB
I confirm this bug for Ubuntu 10.10 (32 and 64 bit) not only for NAS but
in general. Copy operation will freeze whenever you try to copy a folder
with sub-folders from an FTP-Server to your local harddisk.

This has long since been fixed. In fact, the UI of that page has
changed quite a bit since this issue was raised.

While this has been discussed at UDS, I have been quite clear in my
unwillingness to address the problem using tool-tips. I firmly believe
this would be poor UI.

why did my screen turned all black while reading internet news?
when it turned black, i tried to move the touchpad and the it is normal again
but
i noticed an additional icon on my upper panel.
i moved the cursor/mouse over and it says
Session active, not inhibited
Also /boot is empty
