I used them in a project as follows:
I created a patch that essentially is those translations dropped in the
po directory.
There is one issue: "Assistive Tools" is not in any po file or the pot,
and I was not immediately sure how to update them
I ended up writing the laptop off :( Had a few people look at it
including a BIOS geek and the general verdict is beyond economical
repair.
Anyway, I see there are a few more reports coming in, all Toshiba's
affected a very low number of reboots after installing Ubuntu. So,

in the latest stable version of Ubuntu - Maverick Meerkat.
This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in
previous versions of Ubuntu,
I completely agree. I can not understand how you can support Ubuntu in
the enterprise when the Exchange/e-mail connection is broken this badly.
I even tried to upgrade evolution to 2.32 from the next release and it
is still broken, but appears because that component isn't compiled in.

After I updated my computer, it started working on SONY VAIO VPCCW16FG,
two finger scroll as well as two finger right click. Option in the Gnome

For some people the battery is BAT0, and for others it's BAT1. I'm not
sure why. Be sure to check both paths for a current_now file, because
one of those paths won't even exist. As far as I know, current_now will
always be there if the battery directory is there.

The logs show that the bind9 configuration failed because of:
adduser: `/usr/sbin/useradd -d /var/cache/bind -g bind -s /bin/false -u
