But I'm marking the task against Byobu as 'invalid', as I haven't been
able to reproduce it there, and it appears that this crash has happened
for some people outside of byobu.

SMART and various stresstests didn't show any HD-errors .

Metacity sometimes leaves dead windows that cannot be closed, and
float above all other windows, obscuring some view. See attachment for a

errors always have lots and lots of error messages coming from gnome-
session. Most of the times, the error is this one:
