Sorry, just remembered that this got re-opened. So I see that since the
last review, we synced with Debian and some FTBFS have gotten fixed.
But noticing that the test suite still wasn't enabled, I gave that
another shot. I managed to finish figuring out how to run it, and it
failed on 1 of 5
According to people having the same bug in Gentoo, running
sudo chmod o+x /usr/libexec/dbus-daemon-launch-helper
solves this bug. Could you report if it's also a solution for you? Thanks!

This happens from time to time, not always, apparently at random.
From the dropdown menu with a power-on/off-like icon on the top-right
corner of the screen in ubuntu I select Hibernate. Instead of
hibernating, it simply locks screen (the same as when you select lock
On the very same system I also suffer from bug #715850
Sometimes one thing happens, sometimes the other (and sometimes it
exhibits other issues, and sometimes it even hibernates correctly).
I was told to file a separate bug for each issue.

space or something like that. However, it does _not_ show up always,
