As the original reporter of this bug, I am closing it. The issue was
found to be the opposite. Firefox 4.0b11 actually does display moinmoin
markup correctly. A mistake by the wiki author shows as such, and was
found on the wiki page referenced above.

This doesn't quite match the behavior I've seen. Observable behavior is
this:
When I first log in after a reboot, I see the nm applet and the little
pulsing volcano lines, then it connects to my ap, does its dhcp and
gives me the correct ip address. I can access my network just
I can confirm this bug on an up-to-date installation of natty—I just marked my
own bug #717164 a duplicate of this—with a PCI-E Nvidia Geforce 9600GT (the
Asus EN9600GT).
The assertion error is exactly the same for me.

Ok that is interesting. Some reports here that when the LVDS is black,
that an external monitor is enabled. For those who found -rc3/-rc4 are

Same problem here: Satellite 1800-214, and same trouble about display
800x600. Before the Block 3 damaged stop, changed succesfully the
resolution to full screen going in failsafe graphics mode.

It does not look like ubuntuone package is responsible for the issue. I can see
that your kernel upgrade failed as well as the segfaults in dmesg related to
python, nvidia-detector and dpkg which
