SR5109UK (original spec, 1Gb RAM) but without having done anything at

Ok, I'm not directly affected by the bug, because I found the setting,
disabled it and now I have got my good old gnome dialogs back. I have no
idea how and why the setting was changed. It wasn't me. And I thought it
must be some openoffice.org problem, so scoured the internet for a long

Turns out that the workaround (sudo touch /etc/pm/power.d/wireless) I
described in the bug description will not be sufficient for all
hardware. It just keeps the script in /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/wireless
from switching to power save mode. At least with some hardware there are
other things that
