portion of the DVD so it is rather difficult (e.g. impossible ;) ) to

My laptop has 3 wifi interfaces at the moment. Byobu shows 11Mbps
879384% as wifi quality which is not proper for sure.

It does not fix the issue. In fact, it's worse; I now have static with
KMS enabled. I'll attach the Xorg.0.log (and dmesg) shortly, but looking
it over it appears that it's still loading the r600 driver. I can try it
with the ForceGallium option and see what happens.

I can confirm this on CentOS 5.5. I have compiled byobu 3.27 from
source. deflogin is set to on but still PS1 is lost within byobu. all
goes well when running just screen. moving PS1 from .profile to .bashrc

Actually @mrmagos, the static came in with the kernel upgrade, not the
6.14.0 driver. If you boot with the 2.6.38-3 kernel, you won't get
static.
But this bug isn't fixed by the driver upgrade.

Looks like this is a duplicate of bug 722020, same kind of crash in
indicator-appmenu.

bluetooth-applet crashed with SIGSEGV in
maddoxflower, thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I could not reproduce this problem in Ubuntu 11.04,
LibreOffice Impress at the Terminal:

I don't know what happened, I used it befor a week, but now I cannot
view device status, I deleted partnership, but I cannot to add a new

Hey,
Got the same issue 3 times and it appears that the log itself is
prematurely terminated in relation to this error. My guess is that the
error happens because the log file is (for some reason) closed, when
dpkg is trying to configure java-common (or default-*).
