This is probably not nautilus bug. This looks like libsmb bug. Libsmb generates
same inode numbers for different files which makes nautilus (gvfs) treat them
as hardlinks and count their size only once.

Did you (users suffering this problem) checked that you are actually
connected to the computer you try to use SSH with? In my case, I forgot
to switch to the other wifi router to connect, and that's what is

It in fact did not fix the problem. The problem was that writeback cache is off
by default in Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS, but the default was on in Ubuntu Server
8.04 LTS. It was a backwards incompatible change that was not documented, and
