Actually, I'll keep this open for now. We do add an ask.com plugin
already, but I don't know if anybody really uses that. I'm not totally
convinced that this should be a default plugin though. In any case,

I think most of us would like in-kernel drivers to work perfectly and
not have to rely non-free kernel modules. However until that happens,
occasionally the non-free kernel modules will provide greater
reliability. I too hope this changes soon.
P.S. Good news - Looking at the kernel 2.6.39 changel
I have previously had this problem when using both a mouse and trackpad.
The workaround is to move the trackpad when this occurs. (Don't know if
this is the same problem but worth trying).

-7 kernel it seems like it's not vesafb-based.

I was thinking along those lines, until I saw that the original package
patches the source also. Since I did not want to bloat the patch
unnecessarily, I went with patching the source as well instead of
converting the source package to a quilt-based one.

I had fixed it by click on Ubuntu logo in the top left corner, then
choose Shotwell in the main menu. It opened n i choose "keep it" in
panel :)

things in the future - but an autoparser would be to invasive to reach

things such as
1) press test to hear the test tone
2) select "no", then next (and "no" on the "do you wish to report a bug"
question)
3) press previous
4) press test to hear the test tone
5) select "yes", then next
