With all natty releases tested (2.6.38-2, 2.6.37-6, 2.6.36-4) I've got the
kernel panic problem with acpi=on.
Unfortunately no bootstrap so no logs.

menu bar and then (menu-bar-mode t) to show it again all the menus show
up correctly. So i guess it's a problem with refreshing the menus. If

I doubt that this is related to the sudo issue, unless gnome-terminal
and sudo are sharing an environment at launch. Also, it only happens

expected the ability to use the graphical user interface following
login. 4) The login resulted in a continuous loop of repeated login
attempts and failures.

I should probably have filed a new bug, instead of commenting here. I
even disabled that ecryptfs file name encryption thing when I installed
Lucid because I got problems with too long filenames in my home.

Open a window (say, banshee). Drag the launcher icon down to the bottom
of the dock (helps make the streaks more visible). Maximize the window,

I am not quite sure that just adding
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/glib-2.0/include
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/glib-2.0/include
is the right way. What about armel and powerpc architectures? It would
be better to use pkg-config to find correct paths in my opinion.
