with whitelist 'all' my indicators were unclickable for me except power
button on far right but were scrubbable backwards from there.
for me this appears to have been solved when i removed screenlets daemon
from the tray.

It affects me too. I use a Semp Toshiba infinity. the bug happens a a
few times a day usually a few minutes or seconds after starting the
computer, when I try to open GmailWatcher, Banshee, or even the weather
indicator, but can hapen with other programs too.
