When a window is maximized, the horizontal overlay scrollbar handles
appear below the window border -- i.e. off the screen. You can't access
them in that mode. Looks like a bug to me. In maximized mode, the
vertical scrollbar handles appear towards in the inside of the border,
update-initramfs is triggered these days, so should only run at the end and not
multiple times anymore.
